Why this hot buffet display earns its place
The Combisteel hot buffet GN 3/1 is the answer when you need heated display but space or power is tight. At 1.2 metres wide and 1.4 metres tall, it takes a modest counter footprint—ideal for independent delis, smaller takeaways, or cafés where floor space is as valuable as foot traffic. Three GN 1/1 wells mean you can run three different items: curry and rice, a hot vegetable side, and fresh flatbreads or naan. Not the broadest range, but enough to keep things interesting during a service.
Build is straightforward commercial stainless steel (AISI 304) and mahogany-finish surround. The stainless wells are honest and easy to clean; the darker surround tones down marks and splashes. At 3 kW, it's a modest electrical draw—many venues can run this on standard circuits without rewiring. Temperature sits anywhere from 30 to 90 °C, so you've got the whole range from gentle warming for fresh bread to full heat for stews and curries.
At 150 kg gross weight and 106 kg operational, it's a credible piece of kit that sits stable and doesn't dominate the counter. This is purpose-built for the takeaway that does it right: quality ingredients, careful plating, and food held at proper temperature until it hits the customer's hand.
