Why this prep station earns its place
This is a proper working surface: a 1500mm run of satin-finish stainless steel, fully welded rather than bolted together, sat on a sturdy stainless steel frame with feet that adjust to take up any unevenness in the floor. At 700mm deep and 900mm to the worktop, it's built to standard commercial kitchen dimensions, so it drops straight into a prep line without any awkward reach or clearance surprises.
What sets it apart from a plain centre table is the double gantry frame rising above the worktop. That gives you a shelf up and out of the way of the chopping board and mixing bowls — somewhere to keep the ingredients, trays or utensils you're using right now, rather than having them competing for space on the worktop itself. Underneath, a full stainless steel undershelf does the same job for bulkier kit: pans, boards, spare trays, whatever needs to be close but off the floor.
Everywhere you'd expect a joint or a seam, this table has neither — the welded stainless steel construction means no crevices for grease or food debris to collect in, and no gaps that make a proper clean-down harder than it needs to be. Wipe it, rinse it, dry it, and it's ready to go again.
