Why this dollie earns its place
Cambro insulated boxes are built to hold temperature during transport, but they're also built to last—which means they're heavy to carry by hand. This dolly sits underneath and does the work for you. The design is tuned specifically for GN 1/1 sized EPP containers: it supports the base and geometry of front-loaders and top-loaders equally, so you're not buying different kit for different styles.
At 4.5 kg itself, the dolly is light enough to lift in and out of a van without strain, but the plastic frame is tough enough to handle daily use and tight kitchens. It rolls without tipping, and the footprint (420mm × 625mm) is compact enough to fit beside prep areas without blocking workflow. Cambro designed this to be part of the working routine—not a specialist tool, but an everyday time-saver.
The dishwasher-safe build means you can clean it properly. Insulated boxes accumulate condensation and food residue on the dolly contact points, and throwing this in with your end-of-service cleaning keeps hygiene tight and takes zero extra labour.
