Why this parasol earns its place
The Bolero Seville Parasol is 3 metres in diameter—enough to shade a cluster of outdoor tables or a standing service area. The canopy is 245 gsm weight, which means it's dense enough to block sun effectively without being so heavy it tears in a breeze. Black is a solid choice; it absorbs less light reflection than lighter colours and looks professional across most outdoor settings.
The structure is built around a 48 mm diameter aluminium pole, reinforced by a two-pole mast system that keeps the canopy upright even when you open it on a windy day. The pole is tall enough to clear seating (2480 mm height), and the aluminium resists rust and corrosion. You get a crank handle for smooth opening and closing, and a tilt mechanism to angle the canopy as the sun moves—practical features that make daily use manageable rather than a frustration.
The parasol is UV resistant, so the black won't fade or degrade under prolonged sun exposure. At 6.6 kg, it's lighter than you might expect for a 3-metre span, which makes repositioning possible if your outdoor layout shifts between seasons. Parasol bases are sold separately, so factor that into your budget when you spec the installation.
