Why this parasol earns its place
This is a round parasol with a 2.5m diameter canopy in navy blue, built on a wood frame from a wood and polyester construction, and rated for outdoor use. Standing 2370mm tall, it's sized to clear seated customers and shade a full outdoor table rather than a single chair.
Its job is straightforward: shade and protection for customers on a patio, in a beer garden, or anywhere else outdoors that needs cover from the sun. It's built to be easy to open and close, so staff can put it up for service and fold it away at the end of the day or ahead of bad weather without a fight.
At 5.9kg it's light enough to handle on your own, and it packs down to a compact 1300 x 152 x 152mm for off-season storage or transport. Because a parasol this size catches wind, a heavy weighted base is recommended to stop it toppling — bases are sold separately.
