Why this parasol earns its place
A 2x3m canopy is a serious amount of shade, and Bolero's Seville parasol is built to spread it reliably across a run of outdoor tables rather than just one. The fabric is UV-resistant and a substantial 245gsm, so it's holding up to a full day of sun rather than fading and thinning by August.
Opening and closing it is a one-person job thanks to a smooth crank-handle mechanism — no wrestling a canopy up a pole by hand. That canopy is carried on a 48mm diameter aluminium pole, and stability comes from a two-pole mast system, designed specifically to keep the canopy sitting upright and steady rather than tipping in a breeze — exactly the condition that catches out lighter, single-pole designs on an exposed terrace.
At 5.5kg, the frame itself is light enough to move and reposition as the sun tracks round, in the Cream colourway that suits most outdoor dining settings without dominating them. A parasol base is needed separately to anchor it securely in place — the parasol itself doesn't ship with one — making it a straightforward fit for patios, terraces and outdoor dining areas that need genuine coverage rather than a token umbrella.
