Why this kitchen canopie earns its place
Where a single-appliance canopy only has to cover one piece of equipment, this one is built for a run of them. At 2100mm wide, the General Canopy is sized to sit over a bank of appliances — a full cooking suite rather than one griddle or range — and, like the rest of Parry's canopy line, it carries its own extract fan built in rather than relying on you to fit one separately down the ductwork.
It's doing the same job as any active extraction canopy — pulling gases and fumes, heat, grease and excess hot air up and out — but across a wider footprint, and it's engineered to keep that airflow even along the whole run rather than just directly above one appliance. The top has a cut-out sized for 350mm ducting, so it drops into a standard extract run without any bespoke adaptor work.
At 2100mm wide, 1000mm deep and 600mm high, it's built for appliances up to 700mm deep — worth checking against your equipment's actual footprint before you order, since it's a tighter clearance than Parry's larger Titan canopy. Stainless steel construction throughout means it takes the heat and grease of a working line and still wipes down cleanly.
