Why this veg prep machine earns its place
The Hallde RG-50 FA533 is a compact table-top vegetable preparation machine designed for kitchens that want serious cutting performance in a small footprint. It can process 2 kg per minute, or 10-80 portions a day, with a duty cycle of 360 kg per day.
It is built in ABS and polycarbonate, with a grey finish, and measures 595 x 285 x 249 mm. At 9.9 kg gross weight, it is light enough to handle easily, yet still has the practical feel you want from a machine that will live on a prep bench.
The machine has a half-moon feed cylinder, a 0.9 litre feed top and a 53 mm tube feeder. It is controlled with a turning knob rather than buttons, and the motor rotates the cutting blade clockwise via a self-tensioned toothed belt.
