Why this gas range earns its place
The Falcon Chieftain is built around a single principle: a working kitchen can't afford downtime. The four-burner hob runs at full power consistently — robust cast iron pan supports, fixed high and low flame settings, and flame failure devices on every burner that cut gas supply if a flame dies. It's not a soufflé stove; it's a workhorse that sits in front of you all service, every service.
The oven sits below the hob, thermostatically controlled, with five shelf positions. The cavity is 2/1 gastronorm size (110 litres), wide enough for volume plating or resting larger dishes. The drop-down door is reinforced and single-action — no fiddling. Anti-tilt shelves are built in, a simple design feature that stops hot pans sliding during service. Temperature holds between 125°C and 275°C, precision temperature control by direct-acting thermostat.
The whole unit is stainless steel and cast iron — no plastic trim, no corner cuts. It weighs 240 kg and measures 900 mm × 900 mm × 940 mm, substantial enough to feel stable when you lean on the edge, move a hot pan, or work the pass hard. It's the kind of range you see in ten-year-old kitchens still running at speed, or you'll see in new builds ten years from now. Two years parts and labour commercial warranty backs the build. Propane gas supply only — confirm your installation can feed it before ordering.
