Why this gas range earns its place
This Imperial stub back range pairs six gas hob burners with a gas oven, giving a kitchen a compact way to handle pan work and oven cooking in one machine. The design is robust and practical rather than fussy, with a clear focus on steady service performance.
Inside the oven, a U-shaped burner and unique burner baffle are used to distribute heat flow for an even temperature, while a heat reflector sends heat back into the oven to improve efficiency. The hob is fitted with durable cast iron grates and removable anti-clogging burner heads, so the top is easier to keep clean and usable through the day.
It is made from stainless steel in a silver finish and has a porcelainised oven interior. The unit runs on natural gas, has a rated input of 59000 W and a listed temperature range of +65 to +260 °C. Allow for a minimum installation depth of 850 mm. Splashback and oven shelves are sold separately, and the burner must be manually lit.
