Why this induction hob earns its place
The Blue Seal IN514R5-L is a four zone free standing induction hob built for busy professional kitchens. It has a stainless steel body, a silver finish and a sturdy stand-mounted format, with overall dimensions of 915(H) x 900(W) mm and a gross weight of 105 kg.
The hob is rated at 20,000 W and runs on 400/415V three-phase power. Blue Seal describes it as a state-of-the-art cooking solution with four high performance 5kW zones, front-mounted dials and automatic pan detection, so heat is delivered only when a suitable pot or pan is in place.
The cooking surface uses 6 mm thick ceramic glass, which the manufacturer says is durable enough for everyday use in busy kitchens. Blue Seal also says the unit is a great choice for boiling, simmering, sautéing or frying, so it is built around straightforward, flexible production cooking.
