Product description

An electric bratt pan from Falcon, ideal for use within the commercial kitchen where cooking large quantities of food is a regular requirement. The pan allows six of the twelve different cooking options – griddle, shallow fry, deep fry, boil, simmer or stew – and hinges and a tilting mechanism make it easy to operate by hand. Heat is carefully controlled by a thermostat, and safety features include a high temperature limit device to cut off power to elements if the pan overheats. THE WORKING VIEW

Why this bratt pan earns its place

An electric bratt pan for kitchens that cook big but work in smaller spaces. The Falcon Chieftain E2962 holds 21 litres and offers six of the twelve cooking modes most bratt pans have: griddle, shallow fry, deep fry, boil, simmer and stew. One piece of equipment does the work of five, which saves floor space and reduces training.

Temperature is controlled by a thermostat — set it and the pan holds heat steadily. The design includes a high-temperature limit device that cuts power if the pan overheats, so you've got automatic protection built in. Cast iron spreads heat evenly across the entire surface, producing consistent cooking results. That even heat is why cast-iron pans cost more than sheet-steel ones — they earn their keep over years.

Operation is straightforward: hinges and a tilting mechanism let you angle the pan manually to pour contents into a bowl or another vessel. At 21 litres, 123 kg and reaching 190°C, it's a serious unit without being a warehouse move. Rated 5,880 W on 230 V single phase — straightforward single-phase electrical connection, no three-phase needed.

Questions, answered straight

Both are Falcon Chieftain bratt pans with six cooking modes and cast-iron pans. The E2962 is 21 litres, 123 kg, and runs on 5,880 W single phase. The E2994 is 32 litres, 165 kg, and needs 8,820 W on 230/400 V single or three phase. Choose based on your space and serving numbers.

It depends on the dish. A 21-litre capacity handles batch cooking for 40–60 covers as a rule of thumb — stewing protein, shallow-frying bulk veg, simmering sauce. Multiple batches in service let you scale up.

Yes. The thermostat controls heat, and there's a high-temperature limit device that cuts power if the pan overheats. That's passive safety — protects the pan and your kitchen without you having to think about it.

Hinges and a tilting mechanism let you angle the pan by hand. You don't need hydraulics or electrics to pour contents into a bowl or braise vessel. It's simple and reliable.

Up to 190°C. That covers frying (160–180°C), simmering (90–120°C) and boiling (100°C+). The thermostat dial lets you dial in the exact temperature you need.

230 V single phase, 5,880 W. If you've got standard household electrics in your kitchen, it'll run. No three-phase needed. Call 01792 732702 if you're unsure about your supply.
