Why this meat fridge earns its place
The Foster EcoPro G3 EP700M is a dedicated fresh meat fridge, running a tighter -2 to +2°C band than a general-purpose storage fridge to suit fresh meat's specific holding requirements. It's built for butchers, meat-focused kitchens and any food business that needs a cabinet purpose-built for this product category rather than a standard chiller running at the warmer end of its range.
The premium-construction version uses heavy-duty stainless steel on both exterior and interior, running on a 1239W input with R290 refrigerant. Foster's Circulair II technology maximises air distribution to keep the -2 to +2°C range consistent even when the three 2/1 GN shelves are fully loaded, while the unique "Airlines" ventilation system cools the compressor and cuts its running time by around 15%. Energy Class is rated C, and the Fuzzy Logic II intelligent controller's "e" mode is built specifically to trim energy consumption without giving up cooling performance.
Build detail runs deep on this cabinet: a thermal break and hot gas door heater minimise temperature loss and condensation around the door seal, shelves carry an anti-tilt system rated to 40kg per shelf for safe heavy loading, and the door is self-closing and lockable with a 90° dwell for easy loading and unloading. The control panel is a smartphone-style touch-sensitive design that stays hidden until lit, with a high-visibility temperature display. It's supplied on 80mm castors, with brakes on the front two for stability once positioned. Foster backs it with 2 years on-site parts and labour warranty.
