Why this under counter fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD UR200X1 is a single-door undercounter refrigerator built to slot beneath a worktop and keep chilled stock within arm's reach of the prep line. At 600 mm wide and 855 mm high it sits under a standard counter, offering 129 litres gross and 119 litres net of usable space on three white wire shelves behind one hinged solid door.
It holds a working band of -2 to +8 °C under electronic control, covering chilled meat and dairy through to prepped garnishes. Automatic off-cycle defrost keeps the interior clear without manual intervention, and at a rated 45 dB it stays quiet enough for a service counter or front-of-house position. Rated energy use is 215.3 kWh a year, energy class AP, about £54 a year at 25p/kWh, from a 70 W system.
The cabinet has an SS430 stainless steel exterior and a white ABS interior lining, weighing 49 kg net and rated to climate class 4 for a warm kitchen. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, 50 Hz and uses R600a refrigerant with a 50 g charge. External dimensions are 600 × 615 × 855 mm (W×D×H); packed for delivery it measures 680 × 680 × 1050 mm, worth checking against doorways and lift access before it arrives.
