Why this under counter fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD UR200W1 is a single-door undercounter refrigerator that tucks a chilled cabinet under the worktop where you need cold stock to hand. It gives you 119 litres of usable storage (129 litres gross) behind one solid hinged door, holding a -2 to +8 °C band across three white wire shelves. The white exterior and white ABS interior wipe down easily, which suits a tight prep station or a bar back where floor space is at a premium.
Day to day it is straightforward: an electronic controller holds the setpoint and defrost runs automatically on the off cycle, so there is no manual routine to remember. It is rated climate class 4 and runs at 45 dB. The energy class is AP and it uses just 215.3 kWh a year — about £54 at 25p/kWh — with input power of only 70 W, so it is cheap to leave running through service and overnight.
The cabinet measures 600 × 615 × 855 mm externally and weighs 49 kg net, a standard undercounter footprint that slides into a 600 mm gap. Packed it ships at 680 × 680 × 1050 mm. It runs from a 13 amp, 220-240 V supply and uses R600a refrigerant with a 50 g charge.
