Why this under counter fridge earns its place
The PC002 is Polar's C-Series under counter fridge in stainless steel — the same compact, budget-conscious C-Series platform as the PC001, but finished for kitchens that want (or need, for hygiene sign-off) a stainless rather than white cabinet. It's built to sit under a worktop where space is tight, in less demanding professional environments that don't need heavy access all day.
Inside, two adjustable shelves give 66 litres of net storage, held at +2°C to +5°C through fan-assisted and static cooling. Energy Class A performance delivers an EEI of 11.0% at 215.3kWh a year, with a 150W input on a 230V supply. It's rated for a 10°C to 32°C ambient operating range and carries a climate class 4 rating, running on R600a refrigerant, and 40mm of cabinet insulation helps keep running costs down and performance consistent.
The stainless steel exterior adds durability over the white finish, backed by a lockable, reversible door for security and flexible siting, and fixed rear castors for easy repositioning. Temperature control is via a digital display with user-friendly controls, and defrost is manual. It carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty at 44kg gross weight — and, in line with current EU appliance rules, spare parts like door seals, hinges, handles and knobs stay available for at least eight years after the model leaves production, so a unit like this stays serviceable well beyond the warranty period.
