Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The SD1220 is a compact white single-door upright fridge for chilled storage where floor space is limited. Behind one hinged solid door you get 215 litres gross and 190 litres net across three adjustable white wire shelves, so it holds a working day's stock in a footprint that suits a small kitchen, bar or servery. The white cabinet and interior wipe down easily between shifts.
It runs +2 to +10 °C under a mechanical dial controller, keeping temperature setting simple for the whole team, with automatic off-cycle defrost so there is no manual routine to schedule. At 45 dB it is quiet enough to sit near a work area, and it is rated climate class 4 for warm back-of-house ambients. On energy it carries an energy class E label and uses 481.8 kWh a year, about £120 a year to run at 25p/kWh. It uses R600a refrigerant.
The cabinet measures 595 × 640 × 1315 mm, so at 595 mm wide it passes through a standard single doorway on delivery, with a packed size of 680 × 710 × 1410 mm to plan the route for. It weighs 67 kg packed and 63 kg installed, and runs from a standard 13 amp socket at 220-240 V, so no special supply is needed.
