Why this fresh meat fridge earns its place
The CAR1250 is a large two-door upright refrigerator built for high-volume chilled storage in a working kitchen. It gives you 1300 litres of gross capacity (940 litres net) behind two hinged solid doors, with three shelves per door to keep stock organised and service moving. The stainless steel interior and exterior stand up to daily commercial handling and wipe-down cleaning.
Day to day it holds a -2 to +8 °C band across chilled and fresh stock, with automatic hot-gas defrost that clears the evaporator without you stopping to intervene. The R600a system draws 350 W and the cabinet is rated climate class 4, so it keeps temperature in the warmer, busier ambient of a back-of-house kitchen. Energy use is 730 kWh a year at energy class B — about £183 a year at 25p/kWh — and it runs at 65 dB.
The cabinet measures 1314 × 845 × 2130 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 205 kg gross, 185 kg net; it ships packed at 1354 × 885 × 2150 mm, so measure doorway height and access before delivery. It runs from a standard 13 A supply on 220–240 V, meaning no special electrical provision is needed, and carries a 140 g R600a charge.
