Why this double door upright fridge earns its place
The INOMAK CEP2144 is a heavy-duty upright refrigerator with two hinged solid doors, made for back-of-house chilled storage in busy commercial kitchens. It holds 1432 litres across 8 shelves, each sized for GN2/1 pans, and gives staff full-height access to stock from a single floor-standing cabinet.
Two independently opening doors let one side stay closed while the other is worked, limiting cold loss during restocking and service. That keeps the cabinet holding temperature even when the kitchen is at its busiest. It runs on automatic defrost so no manual routine is needed, and it's rated to climate class 5 — built to cope with warm kitchen ambient temperatures and the heat that builds during service.
The cabinet measures 1440 × 868 × 2115 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 222 kg, a lighter configuration than the glass-door equivalent. It uses R290 refrigerant and draws power via a 13 amp supply. Check doorway widths and your access route before delivery, and allow clearance in front for the doors to swing fully — it is a tall floor-standing unit, so plan the delivery path with the height in mind.
