Why this double door upright fridge earns its place
This is a 1400-litre double-door glass-fronted upright refrigerator with a stainless steel body, built for high-turnover chilled storage at +2 to +8 °C where knowing what is inside — and rotating it — matters as much as the capacity itself. The glass doors let staff read the contents without opening up, and the internal space runs 1285 mm wide and 1500 mm tall, giving plenty of depth to load bottles, trays and prep on the shelves.
In use, the two glass doors give a clear view of the shelves, so staff can check stock before they open a door. LED interior lighting makes reading stock fast, even in a dim kitchen corner. The refrigeration is a monobloc system, one self-contained cooling unit rather than a split pack with a remote condenser, so the cabinet arrives ready to plug in and run on standard 230 V and just 3 kW.
The cabinet is stainless steel 430 with 60 mm insulation and an upright double-door format, taking vertical space rather than bench space, and weighs 232 kg. At 1.4 metres wide and 2.05 metres tall it fits a galley or against a prep wall. As a plug-in monobloc it needs no remote condenser installed — it is a freestanding, self-contained unit that sits into a run of storage, and operates quietly at 45 dB(A).
