Why this double door upright fridge earns its place
The Combisteel Refrigerator SS is a stainless-steel 430 double-door upright fridge built to hold prepped stock and service ingredients in a working commercial kitchen. 1400 mm wide, 2050 mm tall, holding 1200 litres (1283×580×1500 mm internal) at +2 to +8 °C with digital control and automatic defrost. Two full-height doors open onto full-depth shelving, so a busy brigade can load in bulk after a delivery and draw portions through service without crowding a single cabinet. LED interior lighting makes stock easy to locate. It fills the chilled-storage role — the cold reserve behind the line rather than the point-of-use counter.
Day to day it runs as sealed upright cold storage with 60 mm insulation, holding a consistent chilled band for raw and prepped ingredients while the doors take repeated openings across a shift. Stainless throughout, inside and out, it wipes down as part of a standard kitchen cleaning routine and stands up to the knocks of back-of-house traffic. At just 2 kW, it runs efficiently even through a full service cycle.
At 190 kg and 710 mm deep, it takes a compact floor footprint against a wall or in a store, keeping worktop and traffic lanes clear. It requires a 230 V, 50 Hz mains supply. For exact external dimensions, capacity and electrical requirements, check the specification table on this page and measure your access route before you plan the space. Allow clearance above and around for airflow and for the doors to open fully.
