Why this upright fridge earns its place
The Foster FSL800H is a double-door slimline upright cabinet fridge built in stainless steel with 536 litres of usable chilled storage. It is a back-of-house unit that holds prepped stock, deliveries and back-up ingredients between service, keeping the line clear and the walk-in for larger loads.
Two full-height doors let a kitchen section stock by station or by day, so staff open only the compartment they need and cold air stays where it belongs. Six shelves across the internal space give you flexibility to arrange by product or service run. It is a Foster cabinet built for the constant open-and-close cycle of a working kitchen rather than occasional use.
The slimline body — 1.2 metres wide by 70cm deep — is the reason to specify it: a narrower frame slots into tight back-of-house runs where a standard-depth cabinet will not sit. It weighs 178 kg, so factor that into your floor loading and delivery route. The cabinet maintains +1 to +4°C with forced-air cooling and runs at around 1,000 kWh per year. Measure your doorway and access carefully before ordering, and leave clearance at the top and rear for airflow.
