Why this double door saladette fridge earns its place
The INFRICO ME1000II is a compact double-door refrigerated counter finished with a flat top and 100 mm coved upstand, rather than a saladette well — a plain, splash-guarded worktop for kitchens that want chilled storage and a clean prep surface without a gastronorm well built in. At 978 x 700 x 995 mm (W×D×H) it holds 230 litres gross across two doors, each fitted with a GN1/1 shelf and three pairs of tray slides, giving flexible internal storage for boxed and gastronorm stock alike.
Cooling is ventilated and defrost automatic, run through a digital controller with a temperature display — no manual defrost cycle to plan around service. Climate Class 4 rates it for a normal working kitchen environment, and it runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with negligible global warming potential.
Build is high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, exterior and interior, with rounded internal corners for cleaning to HACCP standard. The coved upstand at the back of the worktop stops spills running behind the unit, and both doors carry a replaceable gasket. A glass door option with LED lighting is available if you'd rather see stock without opening up. Gross weight is 122 kg, and it runs from a standard 13A single-phase supply.
