Why this double door saladette fridge earns its place
The Ecofrost 7950.5050 is a two-door refrigerated saladette built for the prep line. It carries 2.5 GN 1/1 containers in a chilled top well while a 240-litre refrigerated cabinet sits underneath, so a cook can dress salads, sandwiches or plates from the toppings above and pull backup stock from the doors below without leaving the station. The unit is stainless steel 18/8 with 35mm insulation and automatic defrost, holding a steady +2 to +8 °C with static cooling and a fan.
Across a service the top wells keep garnishes and fillings cold at the point of assembly, and the two under-counter doors hold the chilled reserve. At 900mm wide and 876mm tall with a 700mm depth, it slots into a standard counter run and weighs 80kg, making it deliverable through most kitchen doorways. It runs on 230V at 0.17kW, so running cost is low for the capacity and access it offers.
