Why this double door saladette fridge earns its place
This Combisteel saladette is a refrigerated prep counter built for cold assembly work: a chilled gastronorm well across the top for salads, garnishes and toppings, with two refrigerated doors below for back-up stock — 240 litres gross capacity — all in one bench footprint. At 900 mm wide and 700 mm deep, it sits neatly on a single prep station.
The glass cover sits over the well to hold temperature at 2–8 °C and keep prepped ingredients covered between service, while the doored cabinet below gives organised cold storage. Built in stainless steel 18/8 with 35 mm insulation, fan-assisted cooling and a digital controller, it holds temperature reliably through service.
Site it with clearance around the condenser for airflow and servicing. The unit stands 850 mm high and weighs 90 kg. Measure the delivery route and bench run before it arrives — allow room for the condenser to breathe — and set the well at the working edge of the line. At 170 W, it runs on a standard kitchen socket.
