Why this double door saladette fridge earns its place
This is a double hinged-door gastronorm prep counter built in AISI 304 stainless steel, exterior and interior, including the back panel. Chilled gastronorm pans sit directly beneath a tempered glass vitrine top, so ingredients stay cold and visible during service — the format pizzerias, sandwich counters and delis use for combined prep and display rather than a plain storage cabinet.
It measures 1080 × 700 × 970 mm (W×D×H) with 245 litres of gross volume. Each of the two doors is fitted with a GN1/1 shelf sized 530 × 325mm, and the counter is set up to take 6 x GN1/4 pans under the glass (pans sold separately), with a maximum GN pan depth of 150mm. Cooling is ventilated (forced-air), controlled through an embedded digital controller, and the unit runs from a standard 13A supply.
The interior is hygienically designed with the evaporator protected against corrosion, and the whole cabinet is insulated with injected polyurethane foam. Doors are self-closing at 90° with a removable magnetic gasket, and clip-on guides let the internal racking come out fast for cleaning. Condensate from the evaporator evaporates automatically rather than needing to be drained by hand, and defrost is automatic.
