Why this triple door counter fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD UD1-3 is a compact dual temperature Gastronorm counter that gives a working line a low under-counter storage base. Stainless steel inside and out, it wipes down between services and holds up in a busy kitchen. With 116 litres gross and 77 litres net across a 1000 × 565 × 205 mm internal space, it keeps Gastronorm stock at the prep station without eating floor area.
Cooling is ventilated for even temperature across the load, and defrost is automatic hot gas, so the evaporator clears itself on cycle with no manual routine. An electronic controller runs the unit, a rated 42 dB keeps it quiet by a service area, and climate class 5 means it holds temperature in a warm kitchen. On its rated 2208.2 kWh a year, at a 270 W input, that is about £552 a year at 25p/kWh, energy class E.
At 1230 × 700 × 600 mm the cabinet's 600 mm height suits installation beneath a prep surface, and it ships at 1310 × 770 × 740 mm packed — check that against your access route. It runs off a standard 13 amp supply at 220-240V on R290 refrigerant with a 70 g charge. At 90 kg net it is a two-person lift to position and level.
