Why this counter fridge earns its place
The Polar G-Series CR711 is a six-drawer counter fridge holding 132 litres of usable space across the line. Refrigerated storage sits under the worktop in six separate drawers, so ingredients stay on the line where they are used instead of being walked over from a separate fridge each time a dish is built. The unit runs chilled (+2 to +5°C) with fan-assist and static cooling, keeping stock at a safe temperature through a busy service.
Drawer access limits cold loss during service — you open only the drawer you need, and the stock stays sorted rather than jumbled behind a single door. Six separate drawers also let you split stock by type or by dish, so a busy prep line can keep sauces, garnishes and proteins apart and easy to find under pressure. Each drawer takes a full-size 1/1 gastronorm pan, and the layout is designed so you can load and pull drawers fluidly during prep without stepping away.
At 1370 mm wide and 700 mm deep, the CR711 fits a standard prep run at worktop height (870 mm). At 140 kg, plan installation carefully and leave space in front for drawers to slide open freely. Energy class D at just 235 W draw means modest running costs, though at 1110 kWh per year you should factor usage into your energy planning. Polar G-Series carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
