Why this drawer fridge earns its place
The 7450.0230 is a switchable drawer counter — a single-drawer under-counter unit that runs as either a refrigerator or a freezer, holding 78 litres of chilled or frozen storage. The drawer takes two 1/1 gastronorm pans, so prepped ingredients, proteins or frozen components sit in standard trays right at the pass. It is built to work as part of the kitchen line: a worktop above, cold storage in the drawer below, and one unit you can switch between chilled and frozen duty as the menu changes. The unit measures 905 × 700 × 600 mm external (W×D×H) and weighs 82 kg, making it solid on the line but moveable with a service call.
Switchable operation is the point of the unit. The same drawer can hold chilled prep at +1 to +4 °C on one service and frozen stock on another, so a single footprint covers two jobs. Drawer access keeps pans in view and to hand without swinging a door into a tight line, which suits fast prep and plating. Run it as a fridge for daily mise en place, or switch it to freezer duty when you need frozen storage at the station. The ventilated cooling keeps temperature steady through a shift, and the digital controller lets you set the mode and monitor it at a glance.
As an under-counter unit it is designed to sit within a run of kitchen furniture, giving usable worktop above the drawer. It is built from stainless steel AISI 304 with 50 mm insulation, so it will hold temperature and weather the daily scrub-down in a busy line. Measure the gap in your line and the route in before delivery, and allow for airflow around the unit and a nearby electrical supply. Our team can help you place it in the run and set it up for the duty you need.
