Why this prep counter earns its place
The N001 is Lincat's Seal FDB6 food display bar — a 1399mm-wide refrigerated display designed to hold six 1/3-size gastronorm pans in a row, keeping prepped toppings, fillings and garnishes visible and within reach at the pass. It's built for pizza and sandwich preparation specifically, where speed depends on ingredients being laid out and chilled in front of whoever's assembling the order, rather than stored away in a cabinet.
Temperature is held at 3°C to 7°C, rated for ambient conditions up to 25°C and 60% relative humidity — a realistic working range for a busy kitchen environment rather than a lab-controlled one. Cooling comes from well base and side refrigeration, so the chill reaches evenly along the whole length of the bar rather than just at one end, and the unit runs on R134a refrigerant for consistent performance. Temperature control and monitoring is via a digital display with user-friendly controls.
Construction is fully welded stainless steel throughout, sat on rubber feet for stability — a strong, sturdy build that's designed to take the daily knocks of a busy prep station. The stainless steel lid is included, though gastronorm pans themselves are sold separately so you can spec exactly what depth and configuration suits your menu. At 25.5kg gross and drawing just 0.175kW, it's a low-power, low-footprint addition to an existing counter. It carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
