Why this stainless lid topping unit earns its place
The TOP1200-14EN is Blizzard's hinged-lid prep top, a static-cooled refrigerated base designed to sit on top of a counter fridge or worktop and hold chilled toppings within reach of the prep line. At 1200 x 335 x 281mm it's a compact single-run unit built for pizza, sandwich or salad stations that need topping storage without a separate fridge.
It's sized for GN1/4 containers up to 150mm deep (containers sold separately), cooled by a static system and controlled through a Dixell digital controller. Running cost is 110 kWh/year, with a climate class 4 rating for typical UK kitchen conditions, and it sits at a quiet 42dB.
Build is stainless steel exterior and interior, with a hinged stainless steel lid that includes a lock position — genuinely useful for securing toppings overnight or during a deep clean, not just a cover. It runs on R600a refrigerant with manual defrost, plugs into a standard 13amp supply, and operates from a simple on/off switch with low profile branding. At 55kg it's light enough to reposition on a counter run.
