Why this triple door counter fridge earns its place
The GC73 is a triple-door refrigerated counter that combines chilled storage with a stainless steel prep surface for busy sections. Behind three hinged self-closing doors it holds 417 litres gross and 402 litres of net storage, keeping ingredients cold directly under the worktop where they are used. Self-closing doors help hold temperature through fast, repeated access during service.
It holds -2 to +10 °C, a chilled band suited to prepped and fresh ingredients. Ventilated cooling keeps the temperature even across the interior, defrost is automatic with no manual routine, and an electronic controller sets and monitors the temperature. The unit runs at 42 dB and carries energy class B; on its verified 894.3 kWh a year, running cost is about £224 a year at 25p/kWh.
It runs from a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240 V, drawing 300 W, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 95 g charge. Net weight is 134 kg, so plan siting and positioning before delivery; packed, the unit ships at 1830 × 750 × 1010 mm, worth checking against doorways and lift access. The internal storage space measures 1337 × 530 × 589 mm behind a stainless steel exterior and interior.
