Why this counter fridge earns its place
The Foster Xtra XR3H extends the two-door XR2H counter format to three doors, giving more working-height storage along the same wall-backed footprint. It's part of Foster's value-focused Xtra range — built to a budget without cutting corners on the cooling and construction a counter fridge needs to survive daily prep-line use.
Net volume is 289 litres across three adjustable 1/1 gastronorm shelves, held at +2 to +8°C by fan-assisted cooling for quick recovery between door openings. Running cost is rated at 1115.8 kWh a year, Energy Class C, EEI 44.11% — on R134a refrigerant rather than the R290 used elsewhere in the Xtra range. Climate Class 5 means it's built to hold that range in a working kitchen rather than a test environment.
Stainless steel exterior and aluminium interior keep cleaning straightforward, with a removable door gasket for proper hygiene maintenance. The open-back design is built for positioning against a wall, improving ventilation and cooling performance in that setup, and castors allow repositioning without lifting. It carries Foster's standard 2 years parts and labour warranty.
