Why this triple door counter fridge earns its place
The Blizzard HBC3 is a triple hinged-door refrigerated counter — a full-length worktop unit for kitchens that need more chilled storage along the line than a twin-door counter provides. It measures 1795 × 700 × 950mm with a rear stainless steel upstand to keep splashes off the wall, and holds 417 litres gross across three doors.
Three adjustable shelves give straightforward racking across the three compartments, and an even, ducted air distribution system keeps temperature consistent from one end of the counter to the other. Cooling is ventilated, controlled through a Dixell digital controller, and on a standard 13-amp supply the unit is rated Energy Class C at 230 kWh a year — a controlled running cost given the extra length and capacity over a twin-door counter.
Build is stainless steel exterior and interior, rated climate class 4 and running at 42dB. All three doors are self-closing with a dwell position for hands-free loading and fitted with replaceable gaskets, with internal corners rounded for cleaning. The refrigerant is R290, defrost is automatic, and the 154kg unit sits on lockable heavy-duty castors. It's available with a 2 or 3 drawer option in place of the doors.
