Why this triple door counter fridge earns its place
The KOLDBOX KXCC3 is a triple-door refrigerated compact counter — a straightforward worktop-height storage fridge rather than a saladette, aimed at kitchens that want three doors of chilled storage at counter height without a GN topping well taking up the surface. At 1368mm wide, 700mm deep and 876mm high, it works as a run of under-counter storage behind a pass or prep line, or as additional chilled capacity alongside cooking equipment.
Gross capacity is 368 litres, split across the three doors and organised on 3 adjustable GN1/1 shelves, so gastronorm containers slot straight in without adapters. Cooling is fan assisted and held by a Dixell digital controller, with automatic defrost removing the need for a manual ice-clearing routine. The unit is built to Climate Class 4, meaning it's designed to hold temperature reliably in a genuinely warm kitchen — not just a cool store — and runs at a modest 42 dB.
Construction is stainless steel inside and out, with rounded internal corners for easier cleaning and 35mm insulation keeping the cold in. It stands on 4 feet as standard, with the option to mount on castors where the kitchen needs to move it for cleaning or reconfiguration. A replaceable door gasket and an easily removable condenser filter cover the routine maintenance points, and low-profile integrated handles keep the branding and fittings unobtrusive on a working line.
