Why this triple door counter fridge earns its place
The KOLDBOX KXRC3 is a three-door counter refrigerator built to sit at worktop height in a prep or servery run, giving three separate chilled compartments rather than one large cabinet. At 1795mm wide, 700mm deep and 850mm high, it's sized to run the length of a substantial counter section.
Gross capacity is 417 litres, with one adjustable GN1/1 shelf per door across the three compartments, and even air distribution through a ducted cooling system keeps temperature consistent throughout. Energy consumption is 230 kWh a year, refrigerant is R290, and cooling is ventilated with automatic defrost, so there's no manual ice-clearing routine to manage. A Dixell digital controller handles day-to-day temperature control.
Construction is stainless steel inside and out with rounded internal corners for easier cleandown, and the doors are self-closing with a dwell position so they don't sit open mid-service. Heavy-duty castors come as standard, so a 154kg unit can still be repositioned for cleaning or reconfiguring a counter run, and replaceable door gaskets cover the main long-term wear point.
