Why this counter fridge earns its place
The HOST HOST1310CR solves the classic small-kitchen problem: needing proper chilled storage without giving up worktop space. At just 900mm wide, this two-door stainless steel counter fridge sits under a pass or work surface and still delivers 240 litres of gross capacity, with 201 litres net usable once shelving is accounted for. It's built for sandwich shops, cafés and compact commercial kitchens where a full-size upright isn't practical but a single-door counter isn't quite enough.
Inside, two adjustable shelves hold interchangeable stock and can be swapped out entirely for up to six full-size 1/1 gastronorm pans (not included), giving a prep-friendly layout for kitchens running mise en place straight from the fridge. Fan-assisted cooling holds the cabinet at +2°C to +5°C and recovers quickly after the doors open, while automatic defrost keeps performance consistent without manual intervention. Energy consumption runs to 1095 kWh a year at Energy Class C, with an EEI of 43%.
The cabinet runs on R600a refrigerant at 230W, 230V, and is rated to climate class 4 for standard commercial kitchen conditions. At 72kg gross weight it's light enough to reposition without specialist lifting equipment, and it carries HOST's 12-month parts-only commercial warranty for mainland UK.
