Why this double door counter fridge earns its place
The SNC2 is the double-door version of Blizzard's low-height snack counter family, running two hinged doors instead of the drawer configuration found elsewhere in the range. At 1360 x 700 x 650mm it sits at counter height, built for kitchens that want doors — not drawers — on a servery or prep-line unit that needs to stay low and out of the way.
Gross volume is 214 litres, distributed evenly by a ducted air system and controlled through a digital temperature controller, with one adjustable GN1/1 shelf fitted per door. It's rated Energy Class C at 215 kWh/year on a 13A single-phase supply and holds a climate class 4 rating. At 42dB it's one of the quieter units in the range — noticeably quieter than the equivalent drawer unit — which matters if it's sited front-of-house or in an open kitchen.
Build is stainless steel exterior and interior with a replaceable door gasket and low profile handles and branding that keep it unobtrusive on a customer-facing counter. R290 refrigerant runs with automatic defrost, and the doors are self-closing with both a dwell position and a stay-open facility — useful when staff need both hands free during a service rush but still want the door to shut itself down afterwards. At 104kg it's the lighter of the SNC2 pairing.
