Why this double door counter fridge earns its place
The GS91 is a double-door counter fridge built to sit on the prep line and hold chilled ingredients within arm's reach of the pass. Two hinged solid doors open onto a stainless steel interior fitted with two wire shelves, giving 260 litres gross and 225 litres net of gastronorm-compatible storage. It is a working storage unit for a busy kitchen, not a display case, so the whole cabinet is turned over to keeping stock cold and organised.
Day to day it holds a +2 to +10 °C band under electronic control, with automatic defrost so there is no manual routine to schedule around service. It is rated climate class 4, and at 42 dB it runs quietly enough for an open kitchen. On its verified energy figure of 1138.8 kWh a year (energy class C) it costs about £285 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 900 × 700 × 870 mm externally and weighs 67 kg net, 77 kg gross; it ships packed at 980 × 770 × 1040 mm, worth checking against your delivery route and doorways. It draws 155 W on a standard 13 A, 220–240 V supply, and the sealed system uses 68 g of R600a refrigerant. Stainless steel inside and out keeps it wipe-clean for back-of-house hygiene.
