Why this triple door counter freezer earns its place
A three-door negative counter — a commercial freezer built into a counter, holding stock frozen below a stainless steel worktop. It gives a prep section two things in one footprint: a solid working surface at counter height, and freezer storage right underneath, so frozen ingredients are to hand without a trip to the walk-in. The three doors split the 402-litre cabinet into sections you can organise by product or by station. Built from stainless steel 18/8 with 60 mm insulation and automatic defrost, it maintains -10 to -20 °C, letting you dial the exact freezing band you need via the digital controller.
In service it runs as a self-contained under-counter freezer: pull open a door, take what you need, and the worktop above stays clear for prep. Three doors mean you only open the section you need, so less cold air escapes each time and the cabinet holds temperature more steadily across a shift. At 1795 mm wide and 850 mm tall, it is a counter-height unit with ventilated cooling and runs at 50 dB(A). The stainless surfaces wipe down and take the daily wear of a working line.
At 145 kg and drawing 0.34 kW from a standard 230 V supply, it's a freestanding under-counter unit sized to sit in a run of kitchen furniture, so measure the gap — and the doorways it has to come through — before it arrives. Leave clearance for airflow and for the doors to swing fully. Being a counter-height unit, the top doubles as usable worktop once it's in place. Combisteel build, supplied and serviced through Craven Cooling.
