Why this four door counter freezer earns its place
The BLIZZARD LBC4SL is the slimline version of BLIZZARD's four-door counter freezer, built for kitchens where a standard 700 mm deep counter won't fit. At 2230 x 600 x 850 mm (W×D×H) it holds 449 litres gross across four hinged doors, giving four independently accessible frozen zones in a body 100 mm shallower than the standard LBC4NU. It suits restaurants, hotels and contract-catering kitchens fitting frozen storage into a tighter run without dropping below four-door organisation.
Cooling is ventilated, with even air distribution handled by a ducted system so temperature holds consistent front to back despite the slimmer cabinet. A Dixell digital controller runs the unit, with automatic defrost clearing the evaporator without a manual reset routine. Energy Class E consumption runs to 650 kWh a year. Climate Class 4 rates it for a working kitchen environment, and at 42 dB it runs quiet enough for front-of-house or open-kitchen positioning.
The cabinet is stainless steel inside and out with rounded internal corners for cleaning to HACCP standard, and adjustable shelving fitted across the four doors. Each door is self-closing with a dwell position for loading and carries a replaceable gasket. It runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with negligible global warming potential. Gross weight is 245 kg — heavier than the standard-depth LBC4NU despite the smaller footprint, reflecting the denser slimline construction.
