Why this double door counter freezer earns its place
The INOMAK LN99 is a double hinged-door freezer counter for kitchens that need frozen storage doubling as prep worktop. At 1345 x 700 x 890 mm (W×D×H) it holds 274 litres gross across two doors, each fitted with a GN1/1 shelf sized 530 x 325 mm — a straightforward, gastronorm-native layout for kitchens running standard containers. It's built for restaurants, takeaways and contract kitchens that want frozen ingredients within arm's reach of the pass rather than walked from a separate freezer room.
Running temperature holds -20 to -10°C, maintained by forced air circulation and hot gas defrost rather than a simple manual cycle, so the cabinet clears frost automatically without losing temperature for long. The embedded digital controller gives a clear temperature display for at-a-glance monitoring, and condensate water evaporates automatically rather than needing to be drained by hand. Annual consumption runs to 337 kWh. Climate Class 5 is the rating that matters here — it's built to hold temperature at up to +43°C ambient, so it copes with a genuinely hot kitchen environment, not just a standard back room.
Build is AISI 304 stainless steel exterior and interior, including the back panel, with rounded internal corners for a hygienically designed interior that's easier to keep to HACCP standard. Doors are self-closing at 90° and fitted with a replaceable — and removable magnetic — door gasket, so seal wear doesn't force a full door replacement. The evaporator is epoxy coated to resist corrosion, injected polyurethane foam insulation keeps the cabinet efficient, and clip-on guides make the interior fast to strip down for cleaning. It runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with negligible global warming potential.
