Why this double door counter freezer earns its place
This is a two-door negative counter from the Energy Line range, 1,300 mm wide and holding 281 litres of frozen storage. "Negative" means it runs at freezing temperatures (−10 to −22 °C), so it is a freezer counter rather than a chilled one — it sits under the Double Door Counter Freezers category. The job it does is keeping frozen product to hand at the pass or prep bench, with a work surface over the top, instead of sending staff back to an upright between tasks.
In use, the two doors give access to the frozen storage below while the worktop takes prep above. The refrigeration is a monobloc system — one self-contained cooling unit rather than a split pack with a remote condenser — so the counter arrives ready to plug in and run at 17 kW.
The unit is built to counter height (850 mm) to line up with a standard run, and weighs 160 kg. As a freestanding monobloc it needs no remote condenser installed. It slots into the workflow as both storage and bench, which suits kitchens where floor space is tight.
