Why this double door counter freezer earns its place
The INFRICO MR1620BT is a double-door freezer counter — the frozen equivalent of INFRICO's MR1620 fridge counter, built to the same plain worktop format rather than a saladette or upstand design. At 1618 x 800 x 850 mm (W×D×H) it holds 405 litres gross across two doors, each fitted with one shelf sized 600 x 400 mm, giving a clean prep surface over frozen storage.
Cooling runs through a ventilated system with automatic defrost and fully automatic operation, monitored on a digital temperature display via an electronic controller. Annual consumption runs to 650 kWh — higher than the fridge version, as expected for a unit holding frozen rather than chilled temperatures. Climate Class 4 rates it for a normal working kitchen environment.
Build is high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, exterior and interior, with rounded internal corners and an internal drain for easy cleaning. Both doors carry a replaceable gasket, the cabinet sits on adjustable legs, and a glass door option with LED lighting is available. It runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with negligible global warming potential. Gross weight is 171 kg, and it runs from a standard 13A single-phase supply.
