Why this double door counter freezer earns its place
The GF72 is a two-door counter freezer that combines frozen storage with a stainless prep surface in one low unit along a kitchen line. Staff work on top while a shift's frozen stock sits directly underneath, cutting trips to the walk-in during service. With 272 litres of net storage behind two self-closing doors, it holds a working volume of gastronorm-compatible frozen product at bench height.
It holds a -20 to -10 °C freezer band under an electronic controller, using ventilated cooling for even temperature across the cabinet and automatic electric defrost so it clears itself. Two white wire shelves organise the load. It carries an energy class of D with a 70.9 EEI, and as climate class 4 it is built for demanding kitchen ambient conditions. At 42 dB and 470 W it runs steadily; on its verified figure of 2536.8 kWh a year, that is about £634 a year at 25p/kWh.
Inside, the freezer compartment measures 902 × 530 × 589 mm (W×D×H), and the unit ships packed at 1405 × 750 × 1010 mm — check that packed size against doorway and access-route widths before delivery. It weighs 94 kg net and 104 kg boxed. Both the exterior and interior are stainless steel, it runs on a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V, and cooling uses R290 refrigerant with a 90 g charge.
