Why this double door counter freezer earns its place
This is a two-door negative counter: a worktop-height freezer that sits in the line rather than a separate cabinet parked against a back wall. "Negative" means it runs at freezer temperatures for frozen storage, and the counter format puts that frozen stock right where the kitchen works — under the pass, within reach of the section. Two doors let you split the interior into zones so you open only the side you need. At 943 mm wide and 855 mm tall, it is notably compact — the narrowest option for tight kitchen runs. Built from stainless steel 18/8 with 55 mm insulation and automatic defrost, it maintains -10 to -20 °C with static cooling and digital control at 50 dB(A). It holds 257 litres and weighs just 96 kg, the lightest negative counter in the range.
Day to day it holds frozen stock at the point of service so the line is not walking to a back freezer mid-shift. Work it as your on-the-line frozen store: bases, portioned proteins, frozen prep, whatever the section pulls under pressure. The static cooling arrangement means it works well in stable ambient conditions (up to 32 °C); check the operating band in the spec panel against your kitchen environment and set your thermometer and HACCP logging to match the -10 to -20 °C range.
Before ordering, check the external dimensions in the spec panel against your worktop height, the run it will slot into and your doorways — a counter has to line up with the surfaces either side of it. At 0.34 kW, it draws a modest load from a standard 230 V mains supply. Craven Cooling can advise on siting and delivery access, and back the unit with UK-based servicing and support.
