Why this double door counter freezer earns its place
The Blizzard LBC2NU is a double-door counter freezer built to sit at standard worktop height in a prep or servery run, without the rear upstand fitted to the LBC2 — a straightforward option where the counter isn't sitting against a wall or a splashback's already in place. At 1360mm wide, 700mm deep and 850mm high, it holds genuine freezer temperature at counter height.
Gross capacity is 282 litres, with one adjustable shelf per door and even air distribution through a ducted cooling system for consistent temperature across the cabinet. Energy consumption runs at 520 kWh a year, rated Energy Class E, on R290 refrigerant. At 42 dB it's quiet enough to sit alongside fridge counters without adding to kitchen noise, and ventilated cooling with a Dixell digital controller and automatic defrost keep it running hands-off.
Construction is stainless steel inside and out, with rounded internal corners for easier cleandown and self-closing doors with a dwell position. Lockable heavy-duty castors come as standard, so a 133kg unit can still be repositioned for cleaning or reconfiguring a counter run, and replaceable door gaskets cover the main wear point.
