Why this upright freezer earns its place
The Polar G-Series CW194 is an upright gastronorm freezer for kitchens that want frozen stock in a reach-in cabinet rather than buried in a chest. It gives you a 600 litre gross cabinet, 397 litres net usable volume, three shelves and capacity for up to 10 x 2/1 GN pans at 100mm deep, so frozen prep, bought-in product and batch portions can be kept in a format the kitchen already uses.
The 50/50 split stable door is the point of the design. Put the fast-moving stock at the top and staff can open just that half during service, leaving the lower section closed so less cold air is disturbed. Fan-assisted and static cooling hold the cabinet in the -20 to -10 °C freezer band, while the constant digital display gives a quick read on cabinet status.
The stainless steel body, 60 mm insulation, lockable castors and lockable doors make it a practical back-of-house freezer for light-to-medium duty commercial use. It runs on a 230V supply with a 600 W rated input, uses R290 refrigerant with GWP 3, and carries a D energy class at 5.55 kWh/24h.
