Why this upright freezer earns its place
The EcoPro G3 Short Freezer is the frozen-storage counterpart to Foster's low-height fridge — a single-door cabinet engineered for kitchens where a full-height upright won't clear the ceiling or the doorway. It holds 480 litres net (550 litres gross) and is fully mobile on 80mm swivel castors, built to pass through a standard doorway without losing capacity.
Cooling is fan-assisted for even temperature distribution through the cabinet. It's Energy Class B rated, consuming 1,160.7 kWh/year with an EEI of 30.25%, and carries Climate Class 5 certification, so it holds its set temperature reliably even in hot, high-turnover kitchens. Foster's EcoPro line is built to cut running costs against older equipment on the same footprint.
Both the interior and exterior are stainless steel, running on R290 natural refrigerant at 230V, with the award-winning +stayclear condenser fitted for reliability over the working life of the unit and a controller positioned at eye line rather than low on the cabinet.
