Why this upright freezer earns its place
The Foster EcoPro G3 GP605-SEB is a single-door upright freezer for commercial storage. It is a 600-litre gross model — 482 litres of usable net volume — giving kitchens a front-access, full-height alternative to chest-style frozen holding.
Three shelves sit behind a hinged door, sized to take 2/1 GN, so staff can keep frozen ingredients, prep batches and service backup separated rather than stacked. The cabinet stands 2080mm high on a 700mm wide by 820mm deep footprint and weighs 121kg, so plan the delivery route and a level position with clearance for the door.
Rated at around 1,682 kWh a year (about 3.18 kWh per 24 hours) and built to climate class 5, it is designed to hold temperature in a warm kitchen. Cooling is fan-assisted on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a global-warming potential of just 3, and 50mm of insulation helps efficiency. A stainless steel exterior wraps an aluminium interior, with a stainless steel back cover for island positioning, and it runs from a standard 230V supply.
